Agility 

Puppy Agility

Foundation agility class for puppies. Will cover circle work; straight line work; start line stays; target work and one jump exercises.

Agility 1

​

Beginner Agility is designed to build a solid foundation for future fun in the agility ring. All exercises are done on leash. You will learn about dog walk, A-frame, teeter, box, table, tunnels and jumps.



Prerequisite: Beginner Obedience & either Obedience - Beginner 2 or Rally 1

Agility 2

​

Advanced Beginner Agility builds on the skills learned in Beginner Agility and introduces off lead work. New equipment introduced includes the swing plank, sway bridge and spread jumps.



Prerequisite: Agility 1

Agility - ABC's of Agility

​

Learn handling techniques through the use of patterns based on the alphabet. Mainly for intermediate students, but advanced students are welcome. We will be practicing Front Crosses, RearcCrosses,  270's, Lead Out Pivots,  Serpentines and Threadles in many different configurations.

Prerequisite: Agility 2

Agility 3

​

Intermediate Agility polishes your off lead handling skills and introduces longer sequences of obstacles and short courses. The training is based primarily on the Greg Darrett Handling System.

Agility 4

​

The purpose of the Advanced Agility class is to refine handling skills using the Greg Darrett Handling System while emphasizing consistency, accuracy and speed.



Prerequisite: Agility 3 and ability to weave without guides or gates

Agility - Weave Poles

​

This class is designed to provide instruction in the various methods used to train a dog to weave.

​

Prerequisite: Dog must have off leash control and have a reliable "come" in the presence of other dogs.

Teacup Agility

​

Agility class for dogs less than 17" at the shoulders. All teacup agility equipment will be introduced. Emphasis on handling skills needed when obstacles are close together. Introduction to some of the games played in teacup agility.

Agility - Weave Poles 2

​

This class builds on Weave Poles – 1.  The dog will learn to find the entrance to the weave poles independent of the handler.  Exercises will be introduced to help the dog gain confidence in weaving independently on 6, 9 or 12 poles.
 

Prerequisite: Able to weave 6 poles without the use of guides or gates.
